A lot of our website friends have written to us — Thanks — we love getting mail — like Mom. Some of you wanted to know where we sleep — we sleep in bed with Mom — Because we're little (especially me, Maude) Mom put a bench at the foot of our bed, so we can jump up. When we go to bed at night — Mom gives us each a bacon strip — we have a great life!!

We love Spring — Mom takes us everywhere! We go to restaurants — ones that have outdoor tables — we work in the garden with mom — we run through the sprinklers — we chase the blue birds, squirrels and ground hogs — We love SPRING!! The best part is riding in Mom's convertible with the top down — YAY...Oh yes — we do wear seat belts when we travel!!

On one of our walks in the park we met a new friend. We want you to meet Valentino...
He sort of looks like us...EXCEPT... look what he's wearing ... Sunglasses!!! His mom said he wears them to protect his eyes, but we think it's because he wants to look cool. So...what do you think our mom did? — You're right!! We went to the Dollar Store and bought a pair for both of us. Cool, huh?

Mabel wants to tell you about her lights. This is how it works. We have a garden off our kitchen in Connecticut. If the sun is out, the glass in the door makes the sunlight dance around the garden, and Mabel chases it, barks at it, spends all day doing it, if Mom would let her — sometimes I chase Mabel who's chasing the light — I really don't know why!

Like Mom, we're very excited about her new website. Because of all of you, your furry babies, we were asked to have our own blog. We have a lot to say and share, so here goes: We are Mabel, 6 this past January, and Maude, 3 this July. We are shitzus and great friends, going everywhere that Mom goes! We even have a carriage (we know that sounds silly) but we love it! Do any of you have carriages? Here's a picture of ours — with us, of course.
